For the Full licence of KUMA Timer (macOS, Windows, Raspberry Pi)
You can get a full refund within 14 days if you have not yet activated your licence code. After activation — or after 14 days — refunds are discretionary. Email kuma@pl-tech.co.uk if something's wrong and we'll sort it out.
Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (and equivalent EU distance-selling rules), you may cancel within 14 days of purchase.
Full refund available if: you request cancellation before activating your licence code on any machine.
Cancellation right waived when: you activate the code. Activation counts as "starting to use the digital content"; under Regulation 37 this waives the cancellation right. This is also stated on the Stripe checkout page.
Refunds are issued for the full gross amount you paid (net price plus any VAT that was collected at checkout).
Email kuma@pl-tech.co.uk from the address you used at checkout. Subject: Refund request. Include your code (or the last four digits of your payment card). We don't need a reason.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 days of confirmation. Stripe's refund flow typically shows up on your statement within 5-10 business days.
Once you've activated the code, or once 14 days have passed, the statutory right no longer applies — but a refund may still be available on a goodwill basis. Cases we typically say yes to:

Every fresh install starts with a 30-day Full trial, so you can fully verify that KUMA Timer works on your machine before paying. If after purchase the app refuses to start or a Full-only feature doesn't work, this is almost certainly a bug — please contact us before requesting a refund. We usually get a fix out within 1–2 days, and if we can't, we'll refund regardless of whether the code has been activated.
If you file a chargeback or payment dispute with your card issuer, the associated licence code will be automatically marked "revoked" and the app will stop starting on the bound machine. We cannot reverse this once the dispute is opened with Stripe.
If you have a problem, email us first — it's much faster than a chargeback, and we don't want your money if you're unhappy.
